Color model of Mechagon Forge and Props from WoW - Battle for Azeroth

I created this portfolio piece after attending an Art Demo by Jordan Powers from Blizzard. His beautiful concept illustration for Mechagon Props for the Battle for Azeroth inspired me to recreate it as a painted model. See original illustration here - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VgYEA8.

This piece is an example of bringing his drawing to life in 3D (perhaps next level WoW?). I enjoyed trying to recreate his illustrative look on 3D objects and playing with emissive paint layers for the glowing forge fires in the chimneys, the interior of the forge, and the reflected light on objects. I would like to eventually bring this into Unreal Engine and add more of the fire and smoke FX and maybe some animation.

I used Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag to create the objects and scene, and brush plugins from Michael Vicente's Orb Brush pack for ZBrush to create the chips, cracks, and other details on the ZBrush sculpt.

Wireframe view of model (decimated in ZBrush). File size of mesh - 29MB. Still learning about low and high poly models and will work on that on future projects....
